You’ve probably heard this one before, it’s pretty much a global anthem. Even if it got a little overplayed, I still love it for what it is.
Our intrepid child explorer is spreading love across the nation. I especially like that he stopped just across the bay from San Francisco in the Marin Headlands; I’ve had a picnic at that exact spot myself!

1Okay what the hell. There was totally not an anthropomorphic lion playing soccer in this video the first 30 times or so times I watched it. I really liked the idea of the kid being off on his own across the country! This totally alters the perception of the video. Now either he’s being stalked by a furry, or he has some kind of imaginary pal, or perhaps a wise-cracking sidekick to keep him company. WHERE IS THE INTERNET OUTRAGE? This is totally on par with Han not shooting first!
Apparently this was actually the European version of the video. No wonder you guys got sick of it so quickly. As it turns out, the lion and soccer ball were the mascots of the 2006 World Cup. Does a cheap corporate tie-in make this better or worse?
