We stay in France for this quirky little video featuring an underground French band and some starstruck French chicks.
As a former bedroom dj with a lot of friends in garage bands (and frequent players of Rock Band), I sympathize a lot with this video. It’s about being cooler than you really are, and having friends supportive enough to make you believe it. It’s about taking things very seriously that don’t need to be taken seriously. It’s about making the show go on, even if you are injured in some way and not actually playing the right instruments. I guess it’s hard to explain.
This video was directed by a young Quentin Dupieux, who later went on to release his own music as Mr. Oizo. CONNECTIONS!
