I’ve always been a bit of a whore for Skint Records (and Fatboy Slim), and the Midfield General is its original founder (and a friend of Fatboy Slim). So it’s no surprise that I’ve enjoyed his “Generalisation” even though it never really caught on stateside. With tracks like this, I can understand why. And yet I simultaneously cannot understand, because this track is awesome. NO ONE DENIES THIS.

The animation tells the story of the song, and the song tells the story of a ragtag group of English mammals who decided to fight back.

This has been one of my favorite tracks since long before The Mighty Boosh ended up on Adult Swim. Noel Fielding will always be “that guy from that song” to me!
