One month anniversary

We’ve made it through four weeks of ELVAD, and I think things are finally stable around here. A few things we’ve done since launch:

• Updated the layout dramatically. The sidebars are wider and more spaced, we’ve got preview images in front of all videos, lines of demarcation, etc. If you guys have more suggestions for interface improvements, do let me know.
• Improved the RSS feed! My goal is for everyone to subscribe and watch their video a day and have a good time and be enlightened.
• Added a TWITTER STREAM! Because CNN says all the kids are doing it, and because I am trying to keep content focused on the videos and not my inane ramblings. But I digress.
• Added some PANDORA MUSIC STATIONS! I listen to (and tweak) these pretty much every day, and I have a few more in mind. The “Daily Radio” is seeded with the videos you see here, and it is pretty… eclectic. “Club” is what I like to hear in da club, and “Roots” is the big beat I cut my teeth with.

What’s in store for ELVAD’s future? Well aside from week-daily updates, which are fairly time consuming, I have laundry list of improvements. Everything from making the weekly themes more prevalent to highlighting the directors to making it easier for me to post my updates.
