I submit this video to represent Japanese, even though The Go! Team is technically British. But honestly, if it walks like a Japanese duck, and it sings like a Japanese duck, it should probably avoid expensive restaurants.

This is actually the English version of the song, as only the second verse is in Japanese. The other version has the first verse in Japanese as well. If I were into conspiracy theorist, I’d say that’s why the singer always holds the phone over her mouth… that way the video could be used for either version of the song.

But maybe I’m overthinking a video featuring dancing 8-bit characters and lyrics like “can you pump like a lion pumps / can you pump it up I don’t think so”. Normally I’d save ear candy like this for Friday, but I have some eye candy planned instead.
