Man, remember when I said that little girls being obsessed with skeletons was totally innocent? SO WRONG!

This fantastic Daft Punk video deals with a young girl’s perception of body image and the lengths one is willing to go to in order to fit in. Despite the fact that you know it’s all special effects, it’s a little stomach-turning to watch her peel herself like a banana.

Really, the thing I find amazing is that how well it manages to use the second half of the song. The griding, droning, gradually accelerating beat is like your pulse as you watch the scene unfold, and come to the realization of just how sick this girl is.
