Underworld – Two Months Off

I’ve decided to do a little “stream of consciousness” this week. There’s no overarching theme (at least, not a planned one). But I will take the prior day’s video and use it to inspire a new selection.

To start off, we’ve got a little bit of a time thing going on. “Back once again” has reminded me of “Two Months Off”. This video actually works perfectly for my themeless week, as I have no clue where else I’d put this one.

Again, the video doesn’t have much going on, but this time there is a subtle message in the simplicity. Despite the heavy downpour, Karl remains euphoric, dancing like a loon. Eventually a rainbow appears, and he is lifted up.

This particular song has a similar effect on me, both in terms of lifting me up and also in terms of making me dance like a loon. It’s somehow filled with positive energy, and the best way to receive it is to let go and flail around a bit.
