They say you should dance like no one is watching, but someone is ALWAYS watching.

Everybody’s had a relationship that isn’t necessarily good for them; this video is a story about one of them. It begins and ends with a group of men doing some remote surveillance on a woman. It appears that one of them may have developed a crush on her. The bulk of the video is actually his fantasy about their situation.

He imagines this woman to be a dancer, and he seems to be unconsciously aware of his obsession, as evidenced by his wall of newspaper clippings. She appears to know she’s being watched, as she can see his silhouette through the wall. They dance for each other, though always with a wall between them.

It’s a sensual song, even if the lyrics are a warning against love. It’s a subtle conflict, which is also captured in the video. The choreography is a nice complement to the audio, as our dancer (known for her work with Tina Turner) flows with the song and has some pretty jaw-dropping moves on display. But in the end, is any of it real?
