It’s true! MTV once did a Mother’s Day special wherein they chatted with the mothers of various artists and had them comment on a few videos. I can’t recall who else was there, but this one was considered awful by everyone but Busta’s mom. She totally got it!

I have loved this video for years and I assume it has absolutely no meaning at all. Unlike NIN’s “Closer” for example, which has a unified theme and evocative symbolism, this video seems to be a random hodgepodge of quasi-disturbing tableaux. It’s trying VERY VERY hard, and for some reason I find that adorable.
