Is it a music video, or a commercial for anti-depressants?

This video was one of the first to appear on Amp, and I’m certain it’s one of the reasons for the very creation of the show. It’s an amazing song, and an amazingly artistic video, and there was absolutely no place on MTV to air it. Solution: Amp!

The video features a strange-looking woman wandering around the city in slow motion compared to everything else going on. It invokes an isolating and alien feeling, and we can see her attempting to connect with things as she walks along. In the end, she simply fades away.

The Box, as a song, is actually difficult to define. On the album In Sides, The Box is split into two parts, almost 13 minutes in total. This version is 4:15 in length, and is essentially an edit of The Box (Part 2). The single/EP version of the song is in FOUR parts, all of them distinct (but related). In all forms, of course, it is a masterpiece.
